A modern food production (bakery) facility is divided into intimate volumes within the local village landscape. Each section exudes a warm, inviting glow that beckons from afar, harmonizing with the village's scale while promising delectable delights within its contemporary walls.

Crafted predominantly from eco-friendly mass-timber, the building pays homage to Latvia's rich forestry heritage. A striking glazed gallery, delicately weaving through the site, elegantly connects the seven distinct units, each of them housing a specific function, including a contemporary bakery, a retail haven showcasing freshly baked delights, and a delectable restaurant celebrating regional flavors.

In the heart of this building lies a meditative indoor garden, a tranquil space for weary travelers that honors Latvia's affinity for nature, inviting the public to unwind. Serving as a prototype for future mixed-use facilities, the design aims to redefine roadside architecture. By harmonizing with its surroundings in scale and materiality, the structure becomes not just a destination, but an integral part of the village's timeless narrative.
